The mall culture is spreading in Chennai like anything, and similar to Delhi, Chennai also has got many shopping malls now. A lot of malls are under construction. Ampa Skywalk Mall is one of the new malls that add glory to Chennai.

Ampa SkyWalk Mall is located in Aminjikarai area of Chennai. It was being constructed for more than five years and to be frank it was inaugurated a little late. By that time, Chennai has got more malls to compete with this new mall. However, Ampa Skywalk mall has its own unique charm. The entire mall is spread across an area of around 3.15 lakh sq. feet.

Chennai's first ever PVR cinemas is located in SkyWalk Mall. Chennai's first Hyper Market Tata Star Bazaar is also located in SkyWalk Mall. A lot of other popular brands and shops such as Landmark, WestSide, Reebok, Adidas, Lee, Wrangler, Coffee Day, Mustard, Health & Glow, etc. are all located in this sprawling mall.

The Food Court has varieties of food options and it is called as 'F3'. What else? The mall also has a small 20 room boutique hotel at the fourth floor. Basically, Ampa SkyWalk Mall is one of the few good places in Chennai to roam around.

Consecrated in March 2021, the 40 feet high Bala Murugan icon at Saveetha Medical College campus is the tallest image of Murugan in Chennai. Malaysia has 140 feet tall Murugan. Putlur Angala Parameswari Temple - Chennai

Angala Parameswari Temple in Putlur, near  Chennai  city of South India, is a unique temple. The Goddess is in the form of a pregnant woman in this temple. The icon of Angala Parameswari is believed to be self-manifested, called swayambhu.  As per the legend, a village head tortured a poor for borrowed money. The poor was forced to plough an infertile land. While ploughing the ground full of rocks, the villager noticed that blood was oozing out from a particular place. There, he discovered the image of the Goddess. A 17th century Dargah with healing power - Mount Road Dargah, Chennai, India

Mount Road or Anna Salai is one of the most happening places in  Chennai . There are two famous Islamic shrines on Mount Road – one is  Thousands Light mosque . The other one is Dargah-e-Hazrath Syed Moosa Shah Qadri Baghdadi (Rahmatullah Alaihi), also known as Mount Road Dargah. It is the most popular Dargah across the city.
