Sri Neelam Devi temple aka Vaishnav Devi temple located in Mayur Vihar Phase II area of East Delhi is the replica of Vaishnav Devi of Jammu region. The temple which was built in the recent time by the sect of people who believe the siant Neelam Devi. There are devotees who believe Neelam Devi as the incarnation of Maa Durga, the Hindu Goddess.


The temple has two sections - the cave like structure which is the replica of Vaishnav Devi and the other section which is the main temple built in the typical style. The temple doesn't have a tower. Instead, the huge statue of Lord Shiva along with Nandi is kept.


The main shrine has Durga and adjacent to her the idols of Kali, Lakshmi and Saraswati are all present. There is an idol of the saint Neelam Devi depicted under the serpent. Also, the idols of Lord Ganesha and Sai Baba are also found in the temple.


The cave is an exact replica of the Vaishnav Devi temple. All the Gods and Goddesses that are found in the original cave are found in this replica too such as Ganesha, Pandavas, Hanuman, etc. The main shrine of the cave temple has three pindis representing Vaishnav Devi, Kali and Saraswati.
