Chopta is a little known, unexplored and secluded hill station located on the Himalayas. It is situated at a distance of around 40 kms from Ukhimath and 65 kms from Rudraprayag. This beautiful mini hill station is called as Mini Switzerland of India. 
Chopta is located at an altitude of around 2700 meters. It is the starting point of the trek to the famous Tungnath Temple, which is one of the Panch Kedar temples. This unspoiled and non commercialized hill station is one of the most picturesque spot in the entire Uttarakhand state of India. 

When you go to Char Dham yatra next time, plan to visit this tiny beautiful hill station too. It is a perfect destination to spend time with your family and friends.

Putlur Angala Parameswari Temple - Chennai

Angala Parameswari Temple in Putlur, near  Chennai  city of South India, is a unique temple. The Goddess is in the form of a pregnant woman in this temple. The icon of Angala Parameswari is believed to be self-manifested, called swayambhu.  As per the legend, a village head tortured a poor for borrowed money. The poor was forced to plough an infertile land. While ploughing the ground full of rocks, the villager noticed that blood was oozing out from a particular place. There, he discovered the image of the Goddess. A 17th century Dargah with healing power - Mount Road Dargah, Chennai, India

Mount Road or Anna Salai is one of the most happening places in  Chennai . There are two famous Islamic shrines on Mount Road – one is  Thousands Light mosque . The other one is Dargah-e-Hazrath Syed Moosa Shah Qadri Baghdadi (Rahmatullah Alaihi), also known as Mount Road Dargah. It is the most popular Dargah across the city.
